This site was created December 2001 and opened to the public in January 2002. I originally created the Chamber after reading only Sorcerer's Stone and half of Chamber of Secrets, and the only Potter term I knew of that would make a good site name was "The Chamber of Keys" from the first book (and thus the little bookmark icon of a flying key when you bookmark this site). The Chamber started out as a free geocities account but after I opened it in January of 2002, it surpassed the monthly bandwidth alotment in four days. That was my first clue that I should pay for an account and get the domain www.chamberofkeys.com. Almost 6 years and over 300,000 hits later, here I am, although scarcely now-a-days.

The Chamber has been static since the release of OotP and subsequent death of my favorite character. I've since moved on to other fandoms and artistic endevours both personal and professional, but I leave this place up for whoever cares to still look at my old work and... well, you never know when I might do one or two new HP pieces..

All of the Chamber's graphics were made using Photoshop 6.0 and Wacom tablet and coded using Dreamweaver MX although it started out on geocities Page Builder. I'm not dedicated enough and do not have enough free time to learn how to code completely by hand when there are nifty programs out there like Dreamweaver that can do it for me. Let's just say I know enough HTML to make text look good in my journal entries.
